We make clothing that only exists when the light hits it.

OUTLINE WEAR started on a bike lane in Amsterdam, in November, at half past eleven at night. A headlight hit a reflective strip on a jacket and for a second that jacket was the only thing that existed.

We wanted to design that moment. Not a stripe, a drawing: lines that follow the shoulders, the back and the knee, so a body appears in the dark as a contour. By day matte black, no logo. By night, for anyone with a flash, a silhouette.

We produce in small drops. Every drop is numbered and never repeated. Recycled nylon, industrial-grade retroreflective tape, stitched into the seam so it stays.
