01The idea
You only see it when the light sees you.
By day you wear a matte black tracksuit. No logo, no print. Only when a flash, a headlight or a bike lamp hits you do the lines wake up and draw your silhouette in white light.
Every line is a strip of retroreflective tape stitched into the seam, along the contours of the body. Not stripes. A drawing.

Light goes back to where it came from.
Retroreflective tape
Millions of microscopic glass beads per square centimetre bounce light straight back to its source. By day a dull grey line. In the dark, a light source.
A flash, a headlight
Any light close to the camera or the eye wakes the lines. Phone flash, bike lamp, headlights, a ring light. The darker it is, the harder they hit.
